Progression

I decided my main interest is photography and have firstly chosen to look at Universities and compare their courses, both through UCAS and IPS.
I visited Bournemouth Arts and when listening to the course talk they explained that they like to focus a lot on the future and finding workplaces and integrating with different companies whilst doing your degree.  This I feel is a good way of getting their students used to how the industry works all the while you are still building up your knowledge and practical skills of photography which I think would be a good way  for me to learn.  Therefore I believe that if I did choose to go to university that Bournemouth would be my first choice.
I have also visited Brighton University, compared to the course at Bournemouth I didn't think it was any better in terms of what they have to offer.  The facilities weren't as good that we got shown.  The course talk was much more brief and they didn't explain what happens each year in the course, which is what every other place I visited had done, so I didn't fully know what the photography course entails.  To me Bournemouth seemed like a much more friendly place than Brighton.
As well as this I went to Farnham.  In comparison to Bournemouth I did not think the photography course was that great.

Now looking into apprenticeships in photography and possibly tattooing.
